Title: Gun Smoke
Medium: Adobe Photoshop 5.5
Future Plans: None

The first Photoshop piece I've done that I'm really proud of. This piece
started out when Wizard magazine ran a piece about American comic artists drawing
popular manga titles. Michael Turner (Fathom, Witchblade - both of which I despise)
draw a Trigun piece that made me feel cold and uncomfortable, definitely non-warm
and fuzzy. I know I don't draw as well as Turner does, but since he's in his 30s and
I'm 19, I've got time to catch up on him.
I'm especially proud of the way the background turned out, and the shading
on Vash's coat. For once I actually wound up using several different shades and
blending them, instead of just using four shades and essentially painting-by-numbers.
Also, I created a pretty good piece without using too many references - Just one
schematic for Wolfwood's Cross-Punisher.
This image is sized for a 960 X 720 desktop, but you should be able to
stretch it if you're running 1024 X 768. When I grab five minutes of free time, I'll
put links up to seperate wallpapers you can use if you're running a 640 X 480 or
1024 X 720 Desktop.
